opening ceremonies of Country Radio Seminar CRS-37.
CRB instituted the Artist Humanitarian Award in 1990. The first award was presented to the group Alabama during CRS-21. Subsequent honorees have included Rosanne Cash, Willie Nelson,
Charlie Daniels, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Billy Ray Cyrus, Joe Diffie, Kenny Rogers, Reba McEntire, Clint Black, Collin Raye, Brooks & Dunn, Lonestar and Brad Paisley. This year's
recipient was Diamond Rio.
Applications should be received by Friday, July 29, 2005. Each package should include six copies of everything. All questions should be directed to CRB, Inc. Executive Director Ed Salamon
at (615) 327-4487.
"CRB is the primary organization to recognize and encourage humanitarian efforts by Country artists," Ed Salamon said. "Over the years, many of the recipients have told me that this award
is more meaningful to them than any of the industry awards they have received."
