June 22, 2005 -- The Canadian Country Music Association has announced internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Paul Brandt will once again host the Canadian Country
Music Association Awards this September. The 2005 Canadian Country Music Association Awards will be held at Calgary�s Pengrowth Saddledome Monday, September 12. CBC Television will
broadcast the awards September 12 at 8 p.m. / 9 p.m. AT / 9:30 NT. Encore broadcasts are scheduled to air on CMT Canada.
2005 also marks the Centennial year for Alberta and what better way to celebrate 100 years of achievement than with country�s most awarded Male Artist and one of Canada�s most
recognizable stars � the province�s own Paul Brandt. Brandt takes on the hosting role for the 6th time, following up on last year�s sold out show. He has been awarded a Gemini for his
hosting role and was recently chosen by the CMA (U.S. Country Music Association) over more than a dozen candidates, to receive their international "Global Country Artist Award" for
2005.
"This year is an incredibly special year to be hosting the Canadian Country Music Awards" said Brandt. "It�s Alberta's Centennial year. This is a homecoming; it's a birthday bash and
being in the heart of cowboy country, it's going to be a big 'ol hoe-down. Hang on to your hats, the 2005 Canadian County Music Association Awards will be a party to remember."
The 2005 Canadian Country Music Association Awards will take place at Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary with Big Green Hat Production�s Producer Aidan Cosgrave, with Co-Producer Anne
Hunter, and Director Shelagh O�Brien bringing this year�s show to life at Pengrowth Saddledome for viewers at home.
