Clevelandbased Rust Records Expands Operations to Nashville

Ken Cooper, President of Rust Records has announced the opening of a Nashville office for the Cleveland Ohio based label. This is a major move for the eighteen month old company, which boasts a roster that includes BlackHawk, The PovertyNeck Hillbillies, Shane Owens, and Aaron Tippin (through a joint venture with Tippin's8217;s NIPPIT label).



The company has upcoming album releases scheduled for all artists and recently announced a distribution agreement with Red Distribution and made a series of staff announcements.



According to Cooper, 's8220;It just made good business sense to establish a Nashville office. With the rapid growth of the label, my staff is spending more and more time in the Music City.'s8221;



The new office is open effective immediately at Cummins Station: 209 10th Ave. South, Ste. 321 Nashville, TN 37203. The telephone number is 615-259-7751.



Cooper is planning on moving to Nashville and will oversee an initial staff of seven including his assistant Maria Bergan, Ryan Barnstead (Mid Atlantic Director of Promotion), and Joshua Ogle (Director of Creative Services).



The Cleveland office address will remain the same at: 1305 West 80th St. Cleveland, OH 44102. The telephone number is 216-631-2970 and fax is 216-631-2975.



The staff remaining in Cleveland will be Brian Hutchinson (CFO), Keith Simmerer (VP of Operations), Neil Sheehan (Product Manager and A&R), Pam Campolieti (Director of Marketing), Tim Yuravich (Director of IT and New Media), and Lorraine Hart (Marketing Coordinator)



Previous announced West Coast and Midwest Regionals are Deej Delorenzo (West Coast Director of Promotions) and Tony Michaels (National Director of Midwest Promotions).



Further staff announcements for Rust Nashville will be made in the next few weeks.
