Aqua Data Studio 40 Eases Relational Database Administration for Small...

February 10, 2005 -- The new release introduces the ability to visually manage security of any relational database, including users, roles and object permissions. The new and enhanced query tool includes complete customization features which allow users to configure the query tool precisely to their needs. Customizations are included for auto-completion, syntax coloring, tab expansion, data retrieval and results formatting. The query tool also operates in two modes: split-paned view or multi-tabbed result view, providing users with a tool customized perfectly for their needs. The new export tool provides an easy to use wizard to extract and export data from any relational database into different data sources, including SQL script with insert statements which can be easily transferred data to any other database. Additional database support includes DB2 8.2, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, PostgreSQL 8.0, Sybase Anywhere 9.0 and MySQL 4.1.



Aqua Data Studio provides an integrated database environment with a single consistent interface to all major relational databases. This allows the database administrators and developers to tackle multiple tasks simultaneously from one application. Aqua Data Studio's sophisticated Query Analyzer allows users to work on database scripts with specific RDBMS syntax highlighting and auto-completion to develop and test scripts.
