Ntirety Inc. Supports SQL Server Loadfest

Ntirety Inc. (www.ntirety.com), the pioneer of Database Administration as a Service's8482;, recently cosponsored SQL Server Loadfest, a free, hands-on installation of SQL Server 2008.

The Loadfest included a discussion of different editions of SQL Server as well as a review of the preparation required for installation, including server sizing, preparing discs for SQL Server, and security preparation. The installation process included step-by-step instructions and a live demonstration by SQL Server experts. After the installation process, participants attended breakout sessions, including SQ Server Clinic, Securing SQL Server, Business Intellegince and Reporting, and Data in the Cloud.

The Loadfest, held last Friday at Microsoft Corporation'ss Waltham office, was free for any IT professional interested in learning to install SQL Server or wanted to install the database on a laptop or server at the event.
