Coolibar and Childrens Melanoma Prevention Foundation Recognized for...

This winter, the American Academy of Dermatology has awarded the prestigious Gold Triangle Award to Mary Mills Barrow, co-founder of Coolibar (http://www.coolibar.com/index.htmlsource=habpr-goldtri), and Maryellen Maguire-Eisen, RN, MSN, executive director of the Children'ss Melanoma Prevention Foundation (http://www.melanomaprevention.org/), for their Pretty Prom: Your Skin is Pretty Too (http://www.coolibar.com/08101.htmlsource=habpr-goldtri) and Lake Vacation (http://www.coolibar.com/08102.htmlsource=habpr-goldtri) books.

As part of the SunAWARE program, Coolibar'ss educational outreach program and guide to proper sun protection techniques, Barrow and Maguire-Eisen wrote the two books to empower teens and adolescents with reliable dermatological information about the dangers of overexposure to ultraviolet radiation and to offer positive, easy solutions.
