Joining at least 40 other start-ups with a focus on medical device innovation, CVAC Systems will present its proprietary patent-pending process, validation data and, for the first time to a large audience in a non-confidential venue, human data demonstrating the scientific pathway for its potential in diabetes, insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome.

Our new data on CVAC users are especially important because recent data from a study of 950 men in the Massachusetts Male Aging Study published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism in March 2006 links low total testosterone levels to the development of metabolic syndrome. Additionally, The Rancho Bernardo Study of 294 men published by the American Diabetes Association in Diabetes Care in 2002 links low total testosterone to the development of type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance.
