Business Leaders Share Success Strategies for Profitability and Growth



A panel of business leaders, representing a variety of industries, will share their insights, strategies, and tools for a whole picture look at how to maximize business success on Tuesday, June 24, 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Commerce Bank, 193 East Main Street, Mount Kisco.



Panelists include Stacey Cohen, President, Co-Communications, Inc., Mount Kisco, NY, Valerie Maitland-Smith, President, SCI Business Consulting, White Plains, NY, Matthew McCrosson, partner, O'Connor Davies Munns & Dobbins, LLP, White Plains, NY, and Chad Stewart, Vice President, Commercial Lending, Commerce Bank, Mount Kisco, NY.

Stacey Cohen founded Co-Communications, Inc. (www.cocommunications.com) in 1997, an award-winning full service marketing and public relations firm with offices in Mount Kisco and Simsbury, CT. Cohen chairs the Business Council of Westchester's Marketing Communications Council and serves on the advisory board for Westfair Communications. She has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, Crain's, Sales & Marketing and other leading national publications. Co-Communications was the recipient of the 2006 Forbes Enterprise Awards and was recently inducted into the Westchester County Business Hall of Fame.



Valerie Maitland-Smith established SCI Business Consulting (www.sciny.com) in 1987 to provide a full range of business and management consulting services to help clients maximize profitability. She applies her expertise to help organizations and business leaders clarify current challenges, focus on opportunities, establish concrete goals, and develop action plans. Businesses ranging in size from Fortune 500 companies to new start-ups have benefited from Maitland-Smith's vision and proven process for increasing profits. Maitland-Smith is active in the Westchester business community and is a past president of Westchester Association of Women Business Owners.



Matthew McCrosson is a partner with O'Connor Davies Munns & Dobbins, LLP (www.odmd.com), one of the largest accounting, tax, and consulting firms in the tri-state area. McCrosson advises clients on issues of critical importance to finance, operations, planning, and performance improvement. He provides a broad scope of management advisory services to a diverse range of clients. He has served as the Chief Operation Officer and Financial Officer of various national organizations.



Chad Stewart, CFP is Vice President of Commercial Lending for Westchester and Connecticut counties for Commerce Bank (www.commercebank.com). In his role, Stewart develops customized lending solutions for a wide range of the bank's commercial clients in Westchester and lower Fairfield County. He has over 18 years of commercial lending experience covering the Greater New York marketplace. Prior to joining Commerce, Stewart spent two years as Vice President of private banking in Greenwich, CT. He serves on the YMCA Board of Directors of Bridgeport and treasurer of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Finance Committee for St. Vincent's College.



The panel's moderator is Michael Dardano, Senior Vice President, Co-Communications, who has held senior marketing and advertising sales positions at companies including The Los Angeles Times, Burst! Media, and Seattle-based Media Passage.
