Messaging Architects today announced that it will present the best practices for mitigating email risk in a free, live webcast on Thursday, June 26 @ 1:00 pm EDT. Anne-Lisa de Forest, Vice-President of the company's consulting division, will draw on Messaging Architects' 13 years of experience assisting more than 3,000 government, education, healthcare and corporate clients to secure their email systems and meet compliance requirements.

According to a recent study by Radicati Group, six percent of workers admitted to having emailed confidential or sensitive company information to someone they were not supposed to. Organizations that failed to produce their email records on time during a lawsuit or destroyed their email records too early have been slapped with hefty fines and even imprisonment.

"Part of the problem is that organizations don't have a written email policy that clearly informs employees what they are permitted and not permitted to send and receive at work, and which emails they need to retain versus which they can delete, " explains de Forest.
