Teach English in Southern China at Zhongkai University
The required native language of the applicant should be English and the applicant should be 22-60 with a B.A./BS or higher in ESL, Liberal Arts or English. The applicant should have two or more years of teaching experience and he/she should be an American, British, Canadian, or Australian citizen.
The contract duration is negotiable. A person may teach from one semester to one academic year.
The position is now open and successful applicants will begin teaching in September of 2005.
All teachers working on the main campus in Guangzhou, China and teach no more than 20 teaching periods (45 minutes=one period)of oral English, Writing/Composition a week.
The monthly Salary for teachers is 4000-6000 Yuan (RMB) depending on experience and credentials.
Teachers are reimburdes air Fair in the amount od 4000-5000 Yuan upon completion of a one- semester contract and 8000-10000 Yuan for a full academic year's contract. There is a travel Allowance of 1100 Yuan upon completion of one semester. The school provides a free apartment(with furniture, appliances, cooking utensils, utilities, cable TV, and DSL internet access)on the campus.
