Mindjaz to unveil New Education Songbook for the Digital Classroom
Technology firm Mindjaz, is unveiling it's new SongBook ES series portable laptop computer designed specifically for educational use by teachers, professors and students alike.
The company, which call its multi-media ready laptops, SongBooks, has designed new proprietary software and innovative tools to make the SongBook ES a must have for teachers and their students.
"The new ES is different from our other Songbooks because they are built with education in mind", said Zak Stroud, CEO.
Each SongBook portable and WorkBook, which is a laptop built for business, are equipped with standard features such as wireless connectivity, faster processors, durable casing and pre-loaded software. Some SongBooks and WorkBooks also feature panoramic screens and memory upgrades. The company builds itself on having tools built in rather than configuring each machine per customer, to control costs to the consumer and pass the volume savings on. The new ES will "have the same great multi-media capability, wireless conectivity bluetooth technology and more," a company spokesperson stated, " but will also feature standard tools and software thspecifically for educational use." The company states that encylopedia software, educational related databases and high resolution screens will help it to build a digital classroom that connects students to teachers in new ways.
The company is also planning to announce its "Digital Classrom" service, in which it will provide plasma TV screns, SongBooks and web services at considerable discounts to school districts across the country. " Our goal", said Stroud, " is to connect every Teacher with every student and create a truly global learning experience", he said. The company also provides a series of Desktops called iJaz Desktops and Mulit-Media PC's connected to Flat screen Televisions.
