Professor Howard Edward Haller, Ph.D. will be delivering a major Academic Paper at Royal Holloway at the University of London April 18-20, 2007in conjunction with the University of Surrey CAQDAS 07 Conference. This Peer Review Academic Paper is entitled: The value of using Qualitative software tools to analyze data in a Hermeneutic Phenomenological Inquiry.


Dr. Howard Edward Haller is also the Chief Enlightenment Officer of the Coeur d'sAlene, Idaho based: The Leadership Success Institute. He is an executive coach, corporate consultant, leadership trainer, author, Professor, seasoned corporate executive, and keynote speaker. Dr. Haller holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University.


London, England () March 26, 2007 -- Professor Howard Edward Haller, Ph.D. will be delivering a major Academic Paper at Royal Holloway at the University of London April 18-20, 2007 in conjunction with the University of Surrey CAQDAS 07 Conference. This peer reviewed Academic Paper is entitled: The value of using Qualitative software tools to analyze data in a Hermeneutic Phenomenological Inquiry



This paper will provides insight into the usefulness, value and capabilities of using the analysis tools within the N 6 software in organizing, identifying themes, inquiring the data, inputting codes, creating nodes, and analyzing hermeneutic phenomenological interview data and the extensive background research data. The N 6 data analysis tools were use as a key aspect of my hermeneutic phenomenological investigation that concentrated on the lived experiences of a total of sixteen prominent leaders from business, education, politics, and the military.



I utilized hermeneutic phenomenological methodology which allowed and encouraged them to share their stories and insights on the phenomenon being studied.My initial nine Doctoral dissertation research participants were: Dr. Anthony Bonanzino, U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch, Monzer Hourani, U.S. Senator Daniel Inouye, Dr. John Malone, Laurence Pino, Esq., Major General Sid Shachnow (U.S. Army, Retired), Dr. Blenda Wilson, and H. H. Zig Ziglar.



I also conducted an additional set of seven hermeneutic phenomenological interviews with Jack Canfield, William Draper III, John Halff, Mark Victor Hansen, J. Terrence Lanni, Angelo Mozilo, Dr. Nido Qubein, and Dr. John Sperling. I utilized the N6 software and non-technological methods to analyze the extensive data gathered from the interview and the background data on the participants.



I had my Doctoral dissertation research reviewed by five prominent leadership scholars with expertise on my topic. My peer debriefing was accomplished with the assistance of five leadership scholars who included Dr. Ken Blanchard, Dr. John Kotter, Jim Kouzes, Dr. Paul Stoltz, and Dr. Meg Wheatley. The comments of the scholars provided me with their insight and ideas and helped me better frame the data and gain a more exacting overview of research findings.



Professor Haller is affiliated with Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, USA. Dr Haller is Trustee Emeritus of California State University, Northridge (USA).

Dr. Haller is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in California, Idaho, and Washington State. He has personally arranged over $1.25 Billion in real estate financing. He has been a Certified North American Instructor for the Robert Allen Institute since 2005. He has been involved in Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Development for over 25 years, including over $450 Million in Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions.



Dr. Haller has been for over 15 years and still is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of American Realty Capital Advisors Inc, a nationwide real estate project financing firm, which is headquartered in Laguna Hills, CA. ARCA focuses on project financings from $10 Million to $100 Million, specializing in residential tract development and commercial projects.



Dr. Haller is also President/Chief Operating Officer & Managing Member of CPM, LLC. CPM, LLC is a Super High Definition Sign Manufacturer and Advertising company headquartered in Beverly Hills, CA, with its main manufacturing plant in the People'ss Republic of China.
