Gladney Presents an Educational and Informative International Adoption...

June 5, 2005 - The Tarrant County Auxiliary of The Gladney Center for Adoption, a leader in the adoption field for more than 116 years, will be presenting an educational and informative International Adoption Seminar on June 11, 2005 from 9:00 am to 11 am. The Seminar will be held at The Gladney Center, 6300 John Ryan Drive, Fort Worth.



The Seminar will educate parents on medical issues, bonding and attachment, immunizations, feeding and malnutrition, developmental delays and fetal alcohol syndrome. The cost is $15 per person with childcare available if an advanced registration is made for $10 per child.



Dr. Schwarzwald is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine, where she is in practice with Dr. Geeta Singhal. Dr. Schwarzwald has completed pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine, and has a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Texas. She is the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship for research among HIV-infected children in Botswana.
