New Site Offers Free IT Training and Computer Learning Classes

As the cost of college classes continue to skyrocket, one site believes that knowledge should be free. Learning Steps is the brainchild of entrepreneur Fergal Dalton. His main goal To provide an online, computer-based training program for people wishing to teach themselves new skills from the comfort of their home.

While some people may not yet be sold on the idea of e-learning, the amount of people learning online has tripled in the past three years. In fact, even colleges are turning to online classrooms and tests. It's estimated that 4.5 million college students in the United States took part in e-learning classrooms last year.

"There's no difference between the quality of a college's video tutorials and ours," said Dalton. "Well, I guess there is one major difference. We don't charge people for the information."
