Vator.tv and ProQuest Sign Distribution Deal for Educational Series

Vator.tv, the online social network for technology startup companies, this week signed a multi-year licensing deal with ProQuest, the leading company specializing in educational microfilm and electronic publishing.

Under terms of the agreement, ProQuest will distribute Vator.tv's video interviews with veteran entrepreneurs primarily to colleges and universities across the United States in exchange for revenue share. The initial phase of the partnership will include growing-library of interviews from Vator.tv's "Lessons Learned" series, giving advice on running a startup, raising funds or when it's time to sell a company.

"We're excited that universities and college students will be looking to Vator resources as a way to learn about entrepreneurship," said Bambi Francisco, co-founder and CEO of Vator.tv.

About Vator.tv

Co-Founded in 2007 by Bambi Francisco and Cyril Brignone, Vator.tv allows startup companies to be discovered by investors, the media and potential partners through their dynamic company profiles and through the Vator newsroom. The company profiles are created by the entrepreneur, but through voting, rating and commenting, the community separates the hot companies from the pack. In addition to Vator's social network, Vator's newsroom is comprised of two dozen contributing bloggers and video bloggers that create content about innovation. To date, Vator has several thousand dynamic high-tech startups.
