Radar and GPS Website Tracks Down Enthusiasts with New Blog

Derek Delgado, founder of www.OneStopRadar.com, is not fond of the increasing number of red light cameras and speed traps being found in cities around the United States.

There'ss been a rash of automated enforcement laws passed in the last few months, most involving the implementation of speed cameras, said Delgado. I don'st support speed cameras because it wouldn'st matter if I was driving 5 MPH over the speed limit, I'sd still get a ticket.

In order to combat automated enforcement, Delgado created his website and stocked it with the best radar detectors and GPS devices on the market.

While radar detectors are an obvious means to avoid receiving an undeserved ticket, the new car GPS devices can be even more effective, said Delgado. With some of the new car GPS devices, it'ss possible to download the location of red light cameras and speed traps from a computer, and receive alerts when nearing an intersection or location that has one.

In order to educate people about both radar detectors and GPS devices, as well promote awareness of automated enforcement, Delgado created a new blog at www.GPSAndRadarBanter.com.

On the blog I want to talk about the steps people can take to prevent more automated enforcement devices being used in their cities, said Delgado. I also plan on talking about the origins of GPS devices more in-depth, as well as discussing which features make specific radar detectors and GPS devices unique.
