Firefighters Online Announces Launch of Web Site

January 6, 2005 -- Firefighters Online, an online community, resource center and search engine for firefighters announced today the launch of its web site at http://www.firefightersonline.com.



Launched by the founder of the original 10/75, a pioneering emergency services website, Firefighters Online features a number of unique sections including profiles on over 20,000 U.S. Fire Departments which include address, website, and federal grant award information. Additional sections include articles and technical reports on rescue topics, fire ground operations and wildfire.



Visitors can also participate in any of several available forums related to fire and emergency services. Free registration is required.&&&
