Embanet Names Vivian Springer as Head of Human Resources

Embanet, the leading provider of online education, today announced the appointment of Vivian R. Springer, C.H.R.P., to the newly created position of Vice President, Human Resources.

"Vivian's addition to the Embanet team will provide strategic direction in critical areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, leadership development and HRIS implementation," said Rick Ness, President, Embanet. "I am delighted to have such a well-rounded Human Resources executive join us in this key leadership position."

Springer has more than ten years of experience as a Human Resources generalist, much of which she acquired in the online media and telecommunications industries, at Azoogle.com Inc., TELUS Communications Company and Sprint Canada. She has played key roles in almost every aspect of Human Resources, including employee and labour relations, contract negotiations, performance enhancement, change management and policy development.

In her role as Vice President of Human Resources at Embanet, Springer will head a team of Human Resource professionals to support the company's over 200 employees.
