May 5, 2005 -- NLRB uses the NLRA to prohibit Unfair Labor Practice ULP.
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) enforces the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) to prohibit Unfair Labor Practices (ULP) by Employers, including the US Postal Service, and
against Unions for breaching their Duty of Fair Representation (DFR).
eSteward provides resources useful in processing such claims through the NLRB's administrative procedures. Other resources include; the Forms needed to file charges against the US Postal
Service, Case summaries which are limited to the US Postal Service cover issues involving Management's refusal to provide information to the Union, Management's refusal to bargain,
Management's retaliation against Union officials and Management's interference in Union elections, complete NLRB decisions against USPS, and the NLRB Guide, which covers basic law and
procedures under the National Labor Relations Act, which is published by the National Labor Relations Board.
APWU and NALC postal union stewards will find everything necessary for preparing claims to the National Labor Relations Board for Unfair Labor Practices against the US Postal Service and
necessary to avoid charges against the Union.
