people issue like INCLUSION is critical and Northrop Grumman has certainly started proactively "stepping-up to bat."
Mr. Daly, himself, has had a disability for more than 39 years. He has earned a perspective born of experience. Now, Daly has been traveling the country speaking to large and small groups
about the importance of smoothly integrating individuals with disabilities in the workplace, be they returning veterans/soldiers or anyone with a disability.
The book, a part of his training, addresses issues to include:
* Thinking outside of the box and the importance of hiring persons with disabilities
* Loyalty vs. customer service
* How assumptions about people with disabilities creates tunnel vision
* The 3-R's to being disability friendly 8211; Revenue, Reality and Relationships
The Access Group increases understanding and dispels misconceptions about working with and interacting with individuals with disabilities. The Access Group, Inc. emphases that decisions
regarding people with disabilities must be based on commonsense and sound business reasons. Business decisions should not be made to overcome feelings of social or moral
responsibility.
