NeoLoad adds NTLM Authentication Support and Iteration Duration Policy



By simulating a large number of users accessing a web application, NeoLoad tests the robustness and the performance of the server under different loads. A test report can help pinpoint errors and bottlenecks.

NeoLoad helps to answer the following questions:
- Is the application working properly
- How many users does the site handle
- Will the site crash under load
- What are the application response times

This new version focuses on the authentication automatic detection in the scenario record. The NTLM authentication (Windows NT LAN Manager) is now supported and makes able the test application based on the Windows authentication mechanism. The authentication can use variables to log into the application with different profiles.

The second major feature is the Iteration mode as a duration scenario policy. It allows starting the scenario for a predefined number of iterations. This mode is useful to launch a known number of virtual users and give more control on the test execution.

New features also include:
- Handle multipart requests; File uploading and HTTP multipart requests are possible
- Handle compressed server response (gzip, deflate); Test a server using gzip or deflate compression. The server response is decompressed before the processing of validations and extractors.
- Handle binary content in POST requests; Send binary data to the server .
- Interface improvements; Panels much simpler to use, wizards help you building the scenario, pages screenshots, and much more.

NeoLoad is multi-platform (Windows, Linux, Solaris) and can generate a large amount of traffic by using additional load generators.
