Innovant Consulting Joins Sucid Integrator Alliance Program Integrator Focused on SAP and eCATT Test Automation Market To Use Sucid Products



Sucid Corporation, the leader in SAP testing, today announced that Innovant Consulting has joined the Sucid Integrator Alliance Program. Innovant has traditionally used SAP eCATT test automation tools to deliver test automation services to SAP customers. After searching for a better way to build and maintain SAP test automation suites, Innovant has joined Sucid's alliance program and will now use the Sucid test automation product line to deliver SAP testing services and solutions to its customers.

Major SAP projects such as new implementations, version upgrades, platform conversions, new module deployments and custom enhancements generate very large test budgets, often in the hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. Most of this money is spent on repetitive manual testing by systems integrator consultants. When the new system is moved into production, the consultants leave and the manual testing burden falls on the customer's business analysts and business users who must continually re-run the same tests each time changes are made to the SAP system.

Test automation products have long held the promise of automating these tests, but often require cost prohibitive, complex and time-consuming script development and maintenance. For example, some SAP customers and integrators have used the SAP eCATT test automation tool to build automated test suites. However, they have found that eCATT does not support load, stress and performance testing. They have also found that eCATT requires complex script development and maintenance to automate multi-user, multi-step SAP business processes.

Sucid's products eliminate the need for test script development and maintenance, dramatically reducing the time and cost associated with SAP test automation . The Sucid Integrator Alliance Program is designed to enable systems integrators with strong SAP practice groups and/or strong quality and testing practices to combine their experienced people and proven processes with Sucid's SAP test automation product line.
