Alignent Software Adds New Vice President of Products



March 2, 2005 -- Alignent Software, the market leader in enterprise strategic product planning software, today announced that the company has named Steve Nathan as its new Vice President of Products. Nathan, who spent 11 years in senior positions at Sun Microsystems, brings more than 20 years of product development experience to the Irvine, Calif.-based company. Nathan will be responsible for managing and growing Alignent Software's development team and guiding the company's new product offerings.

In his previous executive positions at Sun Microsystems, Nathan led the development and delivery to market of numerous technologies and products, including developer tools, middleware and Web applications. Nathan has managed teams as large as 450 engineering professionals across 12 sites in eight countries.

Prior to Sun Microsystems, Nathan held positions at Cray Research, Floating Point Systems and Celerity Computing. Nathan holds a B.S. of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Riverside.
