Copper 2007 Redefines Web 2.0 Project Management Software From 29 mth

Element Software has released the 2007 edition of its collaboration tool, Copper Project, citing the new release as The web'ss best project management software, from $29/mth

Copper enables commercial and creative teams to share and manage client, project and file information in real-time, reducing the costs associated with project management, and providing an online central repository of organizational knowledge. Or as one customer puts it, Copper is quite simply the most useful thing in our office after the coffee machine.

For the first time, customers can gain access to the full-featured product in a hosted (web 2.0) environment, from $29 per month, or purchase a server license from $499. Element Software CEO Ben Prendergast explains, We'sve quickly established ourselves as the preferred alternative to the likes of MS Project. Basecamp and eProject, and with this latest offering are confident that we can continue this trend, having already experienced staggering growth in 2007.

The new Copper edition builds on the success of the 2006 editions, integrating new features like multi-project dynamic timelines, client timelines, invoicing from projects, finite resource control, CRM functions, and iCal and MS Project integration.

Now used in over 50 countries by thousands of organizations, Copper is available in Standard, Corporate, or Enterprise editions, with flexible pricing ranging from $29 per month for a fully hosted Standard subscription, to $2999 for a downloadable Enterprise server license.
