Genius Announces Record Growth in May with the Addition of Four New...



Genius Solutions's8482; -- a leading provider of enterprise resource planning (MRP/ERP) software solutions for manufacturers -- today announced the addition of four Quebec-based companies, from a cross-section of industries, to the company'ss growing manufacturing customer base. Entreprises Alliées, Protomach Machinerie, Rechapage RTS and Versatrac Industries have all selected the company'ss Genius Manufacturing's8482; solution to streamline and automate their manufacturing processes in order to improve the efficiency and profitability of their plant facilities.



The addition of these customers is a welcome validation of the value our solution brings to custom, MTO (Make to Order) and ETO (Engineered to Order) manufacturers, regardless of their industry, said Jean Magny, President at Genius Solutions. Entreprises Alliées manufactures parts for assembling or re-fitting lines for trucks, trains, tractors and buses. It also transforms custom pieces for an array of enterprises including Hydro-Quebec, STCUM, Brown Boveri, etc. Genius Manufacturing will be integrated with Entreprises Alliées's new Acomba management system, and will enable the manufacturer to automate and streamline its scheduling and production management processes. Genius Manufacturing will also enable the company to develop the basic functionality it needs to improve its order entry, planning, and real-time job costing processes.

Rechapage RTS is a tire re-treading company specializing in the RTS process, the most advanced recapping technology available in North America. Prior to selecting Genius Manufacturing, the company relied on a paper-based, homegrown manufacturing system. Genius Manufacturing will replace Rechapage RTS's manual, error-prone and redundant business processes to provide the company with a fully automated manufacturing system. The implementation will include integration with the company'ss Sage Accpac's8482; accounting system, and will provide Rechapage RTS with accurate estimations and Materials Requirements Planning capabilities.



Versatrac distributes FECON products and manufactures specialized machinery for the wood industry. As a fast-growing start-up, Versatrac had no prior manufacturing solution in place. Genius Manufacturing will be implemented to provide accurate estimation, Materials Requirements Planning capabilities, serial number management, and purchasing, and will be integrated with Versatrac'ss Simply Accounting system.
