ECMI Launches 3rd Season of Savastat LC TestDrives



Heating season is here once again, and heating fuel prices are expected to be up considerably once more this year. Facility managers are once again faced with knowing that their heating budgets for the season may be in a pinch. To help ease these concerns, ECMI will be offering the Savastat LC Test-Drive Program to help facility managers make informed decisions regarding implementing Savastat products.

ECMI is able to guarantee clients that Savastat LC will provide a minimum 15% annual savings or a ROI of 24 months or less, with LC controlling the boiler. ECMI is initiating the Savastat LC Test Drive Program to show prospective clients exactly what savings they can expect to receive in a specific facility. Savings in excess of 30% have been documented.

Clients accepted into the program will have installed free of charge a Savastat LC unit, along with an eTracLogic LC testing unit. The eTracLogic LC test unit automatically switches the Savastat LC from Save Mode to By-Pass Mode each day, and records boiler run-times and cycle counts during the test period. During the test period, the boiler is run with LC in control one day, and without the LC in control the following day. The recorded data is then imported into the specially designed software which compiles the data, implements Degree Day factoring, and makes a comparison of the boiler operations in each mode. A complete analytical report is then provided to the client.

Clients are welcome to include a third party of their choice to validate the data and test findings. (The client will be responsible for any fees charged by the third party) There is no obligation by part of the client to purchase the unit upon the conclusion of the test. We are fully confident that once a client sees first hand what Savastat LC can do for them in their facilities, they will be better prepared, and anxious, to implement the projects.

Compatible boiler systems include non-modulating, hot water heat, low pressure, loop boiler systems.
