Richfield, MN August 6, 2008 -- The 2008 American Filtration & Separations Society (AFS) Fall Conference will be held September 23-25th in Charlotte, NC at the Hilton University Place.

The conference is comprised of two tracks, one on Infrastructure and Sustainability and the other is on Filter Testing. The conference is preceded by a day of filtration short courses on September 22 at the same location, including a half-day course on Filter Testing.

The Filter Testing track stretches over two and one-half days with 8 technical sessions and 32 presentations. Susan Goldsmith of IBR-USA, Inc. will be giving a keynote address on Wednesday, September 24th on "Communicating Filtration Performance Claims to the General Public."
