Ideal Impact Signs First Active Revenue Creation Contract

Ideal Impact, Inc. (www.idealimpactinc.com), a new company that teaches churches, businesses and schools in Texas to generate revenue through energy savings, signed its first energy savings contract with Church of the Cross in Grapevine, Texas.

The three-year Active Revenue Creation contract estimates the church, which encompasses 50,000 square feet on a 47-acre campus, will save $32, 800 annually through the implementation of a customized energy plan, as well as ongoing energy education training for the staff. Most significantly, the contract required no upfront costs and the project is a positive cash flow.

This money will help Church of the Cross meet critical needs almost immediately, states Wes McDaniel, founder and CEO of Ideal Impact. More importantly, the church has the potential to generate nearly $800,000 from energy savings over the next 15 years. I don'st know of any other revenue source so easily attained.

I was thrilled when Wes McDaniel shared with me his vision for starting a new business with the goal of helping churches and businesses save significant energy costs, explains Gregg Simmons, senior pastor at Church of the Cross. After our initial review, he predicted our church would be able to save between 26 to 34 percent on our current electric bills. The great news is that it costs us nothing, since all our fees are paid out of our energy savings.
