Krystal Planets Parent Achieves Profitability in less than 2 Years

Krystal Planet Corporation, an ENERGY STAR Partner and a Krystal Energy company, announces today it has reached profitability after less than two years of marketing. January of 2006 marks the first month the company reached true profitability and cashflow positive status.



Although the profit amount was modest, the company expects to continue operating in the black nearly every month in 2006. The extra proceeds will most likely be used to pay off the last of its debt and invest in developing its own renewable energy technologies.



"This is a major milestone for our company, turning a monthly profit for the 1st time in our history. After two consecutive quarters of cost-cutting and strong sales since October 2005, we are finally operating in the black" says Troy Helming, founder and CEO. "Our staff is finally earning market salaries and we do not intend to rest until we are completely debt-free with a large war chest of reserves in the bank to continue to fight the clean power revolution. I am so grateful to our staff, management, and dealers for the long hours and many sacrifices made along the way."



Krystal Planet and its parent Krystal Energy Corporation were formed in December 2002 but marketing efforts began in April 2004 on Earth Day, making January 2006 the 21st month of operations, well shy of the two-year anniversary. Financial results are not publicly available, as Krystal Energy is a privately held company.
