8th Annual Carnaval Carolina the Largest Hispanic Festival in the East...

May 8, 2005 -- Created in 1998 in an effort to bring together the latino community of the Carolinas in an all entertainment, and international atmosphere. Carnaval Carolina has grown from a small hometown festival to an internationally recognized festival with over 63,000 people in attendance in 2004. Carnaval Carolina has become a huge success due to the showcase of award winning, top Latin artists from Mexico, Caribbean, Latin American and the United States.



This year Carnaval Carolina will feature performances from Jose Jose, Laura Flores, Lucia Mendez, Monchy and Alejandra, Banda Machos, Eugenio Derbez, El Cougar y sus Dorados, Alicia Villareal and reggaeton sensations Ivey Queen, Nicky Jam and many many more. Over 25 performers will grace the stage of Carnaval Carolina on Sunday, June 19th begining at 11:00 am and concluding with a beautiful firework display at 11:00 pm. Carnaval Carolina is an alcohol free, family event with amusement rides, etnic foods, and lots of music.
