First Female Fighter Pilot Shares Her Secrets

May 12, 2005 -- Jo Salter, Britain's first female fast jet pilot - cited by Harpers and Queen as "One of the 50 most inspiring women in the world" - will speak at the second London Networking EXPO on Saturday July 9th (www.londonnetworkingexpo.com).



The event, at the Thistle Hotel Marble Arch, will feature other top business speakers, including Lindsay Bogaard, who will talk about her experience on the unmissable TV show "The Apprentice"



Organiser Larry Osei-Kwaku says "Networking is crucial to business success. The London Networking Expo provides practical tips and real-life examples from top business experts. We expect to be over-subscribed "



Along with Jo Salter and Lindsay Bogaard, the speakers include Rikki Arundel, founder of the Professional Speakers Association, middle-aged biker babe Lesley Morrissey, and magician Michael Vincent..



The first Networking EXPO event (sponsored by tetridia.com) attracted over 130 businesspeople keen to network, share ideas and make new contacts. The success of the event, attracting participants from around the UK and Europe, convinced Larry that the concept was worth reproducing all over the country. Commenting on the first event, Thomas Power, Chairman of Ecademy, (and a former real apprentice to Alan Sugar) said, "It was awesome, truly awesome. Ponder, replicate and expand!" James Coakes, Managing Director, The Team Building Company, said "I can recommend it to anyone who wants to get business out of their networking".



As well as a great line up of top speakers, the event includes ample time for networking over coffee, promoting products and services at one of a limited number of table top exhibition stands, and a fun networking dinner where participants will be encouraged to meet and talk to as many people as possible. The event starts at 1.00 pm with dinner scheduled at around 6.30 pm and will finish around 9 pm.
