Fourth of July in Branson is More than Fireworks

Fourth of July celebrations take place all over the nation, but one would be hard pressed to find a destination city where it is celebrated better or with a more patriotic heart than in Branson, Missouri. (http://www.branson.com/) Paul Miller, General Manager for the Branson Tourism Center said, 's8220;The Fourth of July in Branson is a special celebration, offering a unique combination of patriotism and entertainment not available anywhere else in the Nation.'s8221;

Miller said, 's8220;Patriotism in Branson isn's8217;t just on Fourth of July it is part of the very heartbeat of Branson.'s8221; Most Branson shows honor Veterans and America with a special acknowledgment or tribute on a daily basis, have been doing so for decades and will do so as Branson celebrates the Fourth of July.

Miller shared his belief that there are probably more spectacular firework displays (http://www.bransontourismcenter.com/4th-of-july-firework-displays.htm) within a ten mile radius of the center of the famous Branson Strip than anywhere else in the country. Among the more popular, Miller points out, will be the city of Hollister's8217;s 56th year of spectacular firework displays along with similar displays from Kimberling City, and the Chateau on the Lake. The Kimberling City and Chateau displays reflecting off of Table Rock Lake and all the boats anchored with their navigation lights is truly an amazing and beautiful sight.

Miller pointed out that visitors to Branson are invited to participate along with local residents in 's8220;Branson Spirit of 76 Independence Day,'s8221; sponsored by the Branson Veteran's8217;s Task Force. The event will be simultaneously celebrated at the Branson Landing and the city of Branson's8217;s Stockstill Park at 10:00 a.m. on the Fourth. Another special event on that day will be the dedication of the 's8220;Vietnam POW/MIAs Memorial Wall of the United States's8221; at the Branson Mall on the 's8220;Veterans Walk of Fame.'s8221;

From an entertainment perspective, Miller said, 's8220;All of the shows, attractions, and activities that have made Branson the national entertainment destination it is will be in full operation for Branson's8217;s visitors to enjoy. From water activities on Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo, to world class theme parks and shows that only the 's8220;Live Music Show Capital of the World's8221; could offer, the entertainment choices in Branson are, according to Miller, 's8220;Unique and unmatched anywhere else in the country.'s8221;

's8220;It is that rare combination of Branson's8217;s patriotism, the sheer number of Fourth of July fireworks displays and other events combined with the totality of the entertainment experience that Branson offers,'s8221; Miller says, 's8220;that makes a Fourth of July in Branson a unique and special event.'s8221;

Miller has 12 years experience in the tourism industry and works for the Branson Tourism Center (http://www.bransontourismcenter.com/index.html), LLC, one of Branson's8217;s largest providers of Branson travel services and employs about 100 people. It is an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau of Southwest Missouri. Among other organizations, it is a member of the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau, Better Business Bureau, American Society of Travel Agents, American Bus Association, and the Branson Lodging Association.
