June 23, 2005 -- This year marks 50 years of partnership with the Fire Fighters Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This will be the 40th Jerry Lewis Telethon that has
been aired every year on Labor Day Weekend since 1966. Every year brings us closer to a cure.
In honor of this 50 year milestone local Ark-La-Tex Comedy Hypnotist Blake Andrews has declared August MDA month. This is the time of year Fire Fighter Groups and others are making their
last push to help Jerry's Kids raise much needed funds during the Annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon.
To help support this effort Blake has set aside 30 days in August to help these groups organize a fundraiser that will help Jerrys Kids. At the same time they'll be bringing a popular
form of entertainment to their communities that they may not have the opportunity to see otherwise.
Blake has set a goal of 90K in 30 days for Jerrys Kids. Blake said "This is a very doable goal and I have all the tools necessary for these groups to use to raise more funds this year
than they have in the past".
If you live in the Ark-La-Tex be sure to check with your local Fire Fighters Association to see if they are bringing Blake Andrew's Comedy Hypnosis Show to your community. You could find
yourself the Star of The Show. Or as Blake says 'Its More Fun Than You Can Imagine'.
