Multimedia Design Corp. (MDC www.mmdesigncorp.com), a provider of Web 2.0 applications that empower even the least tech-savvy users to leverage the Internet for more effective communication, announced today the availability of mPOWER Play, a web-based tool for the creation, publication and management of dynamic presentations that can be delivered offline, or online as a Webinar, Website, Webpage or via email.
"mPOWER Play delivers on the promise of Web 2.0 through a depth of functionality comparable to desktop applications, while leveraging the power of the Internet to enhance the lifecycle,
content and delivery of presentations," said Rob Yarmey, COO of Multimedia Deign Corporation. "The most important accomplishment of our software is that it is designed to align with
current user preferences. It works when, where and how users desire."
mPOWER Play Overview:
- Compatible with a wide array of workplace-efficiency applications, including: PowerPoint, Google Apps, and all online applications.
- Real-time collaboration with unlimited authors and viewers.
- Offline review and present functionality
- Dynamic content capabilities, including flash-like effects and the use of audio, video, images, text and frames.
- Familiar, award-winning interface.
"mPOWER Play solves traditional challenges, such as accessibility, collaboration, distribution and version control, significantly enhancing our organization's ability to create, publish
and manage presentations," said Michael K. McMahan, nationally-prominent financial advisor and principal of Capital Guardian, LLC. "Now, our more dynamic and effective presentations can
be accessed by our associates anywhere, anytime via the Internet. mPOWER Play clearly provides us an advantage over competitors still operating on desktop presentation tools."
How To Create, Publish and Manage Dynamic Presentations with mPOWER Play
Users can log-in to mPOWER Play anytime, from anywhere via an Internet connection. A new presentation can be started or - since mPOWER Play is compatible with a wide array of desktop and
online workplace-efficiency applications - an existing presentation can be imported.
To enhance the effectiveness of presentations, users can incorporate audio, video, images, text and even frames. Furthermore, users can leverage timing, fades, ticker tape, credit roll
and other flash-like effects.
Users can simply drag and place any aspect of the presentation anywhere on their slide. If they prefer a consistent look and feel for their presentations, a master slide can be designed
to ensure uniformity throughout all slides.
At any point during the creation process, multiple users can collaborate on a presentation as an author or as a viewer. For real-time author collaboration, numerous users can log-in to
the same project. If authors want feedback from others, they can publish the presentation to the web with a simple click of a button. An automatically-generated URL is provided that can
be shared with others. Any edits can be viewed in real-time via the URL or through the mPOWER Play interface.
When the presentation is complete, it can be downloaded for offline delivery or presented online as a Webinar, Website, Webpage or via email. If presented as a Webinar, authors can invite
unlimited attendees, control the "play" of the presentation and track attendance.
Since presentations are made available via the automatically-generated mPOWER Play URL, version control is ensured. All edits made to the presentation will be seen the next time the
presentation is viewed.
Offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), mPOWER Play users are not responsible for downloads or updates. mPOWER Play is available for free at www.mmdesigncorp.com.
