Peter Cullen The Voice of the Original Optimus Prime to Attend Cybercon...



May 13, 2005 -- Cybercon Expo announces that Peter Cullen, a leading voice acting talent in Hollywood today and overall legend in voice-over character work, known for his work as Optimus Prime in the original 80s Transformers cartoon series and Eeyore the donkey in Disney's Winnie the Pooh, will be attending the show on July 29th and 30th 2005 in New York City.



Peter Cullen has only made two other public appearances in the last decade. He has not been on the east coast of the United States since twenty-something Generation X-ers' interest in the original Transformers rekindled recently. Peter Cullen's busy work schedule in Los Angeles and naturally reserved nature keeps him from doing events of this type, making it a rare and special occasion for fans and collectors alike.



Peter Cullen will be signing autographs on Friday and Saturday throughout the course of the event at designated times. Tickets for autographs can be purchased in advance online or at the show in person. Autographs are strictly limited to 500 tickets total for the entire weekend.



Mr. Cullen will also take part in a one-hour question-and-answer panel on Saturday evening. Peter will field questions from the fans and has been known to drop in and out of character, allowing attendees to witness the classic voices they love first hand. Peter Cullen is currently one of Hollywood's lead voice actors, doing work for Warner Brothers, TNT, Cartoon Network, and countless television and movie promotions.
