Speakers To Highlight Infrastructure Business Opportunities atWATER...



Top executives from leading water companies, and investment and market research firms will join Mike Shapiro, Acting Assistant Administrator of the U.S. EPA'ss Office of Water, and Tommy Holmes, legislative director with the American Water Works Association, at the WATER EXECUTIVE Forum (http://www.ultrapurewater.com) here March 30-31. The conference at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Center City Philadelphia will focus on water infrastructure, the state of the water industry, investment opportunities, business trends, and the impact of the new American Economic Recovery Reinvestment Act on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Registrants before March 23 will qualify for an early bird discount.





The two-day session will also include Emerging Technologies (http://www.waterexec.com/Expo/WEForum.htm) presentations on nanotechnology developments for water treatment. Many industry observers see nanotechnology as the next advancement for improving water treatment technologies.



Leading executives addressing the conference will include Paul Raymond of Ashland Hercules Water Technologies, Jeff Fulgham of GE Water, Matthew Knight of Siemens Water, G.G. Pique of Energy Recovery, David Flitman of Nalco, Paul Turgeon of BWA Water Additives, Hu Flemming of Hatch Water, and Omar Del Valle Colosio of CG/LA Infrastructure. Nanotechnology developments will be examined by leaders from companies and research groups active in efforts to bring this technology revolution to water treatment. Presenters will include Lisa Farmen, president of Crystal Clear Technologies; Fred Tepper, president of Argonide; Jeff Green, CEO of NanoH2O; Dr. Ernest Matthew Hotze, researcher with CNRS in France; Roger Miller, president of Water Filtration at Seldon Technologies; and Richard Sustich, a development manager with The Water CAMPWS at the University of Illinois.



Overall, the conference provides individuals interested in the Water Business a chance to learn about investment opportunities, business and market developments, and new water treatment technologies.
