The Art Of Skateboarding Charity Auction

Guapo Skateboards proudly announces the Art of Skateboarding. An event that will showcase over 120 skateboards designed by celebrity artists, graphic/interior designers, local artists and St.Philip's students. Each of these skateboard decks will be available for purchase during the evenings live auction. Proceeds from the sales of these boards will benefit the Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital. and St. Philip's School and Community Center.

A winning student design from the St.Philip's School & Community Center will also be announced. The winner will receive the "2008 Art of Skateboarding Award" and a United States Savings Bond for their future college fund.

The evenings speakers will be Founder of Guapo Skateboards, Al Coker and Jon Comer Honorary Chairman/Professional Skateboarder.

The event is being held at the Janette Kennedy Gallery inside SouthSide on Lamar, June 20, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00. For more information contact Bri Crum at 760.250.8518.
