Virginia Beach Church Enters Oprahs World

On August 6, 2005, the pastor, members and volunteers of the Virginia Beach Worship Center will engage an audience in excess of 200 people in At The Center, an electrifying exploration of the purpose, vision and heart of this 6-month old church. The talk show will be held and recorded to DVD at 9:30 a.m. at the church's8217;s worship location of the AMC Movie Theaters in the Lynnhaven Mall in Virginia Beach. The mall is located at 701 Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.



Senior Pastor, Founder and Virginia Beach resident Melrick Bogier comments that, 's8220;We want to be a church that is not just in the community, but an intricate part of the community. That can not be accomplished if we only have service on Sunday and then go home until next week. It is our heart to get to know our community and our city and vice versa; so that we can be effective.'s8221;



's8220;We want to impact the community of Lynnhaven and the city of Virginia Beach in a positive way,'s8221; Bogier said. 's8220;I just want to let people know that we are here and we have a purpose with them in mind.'s8221;



Organizers are encouraging people to bring their questions, minds and hearts to this first-ever unprecedented event. The end result of this event will be a professionally produced DVD to be distributed to first-time guests and anyone that maybe interested in this new innovative church.



Virginia Beach Worship Center is not just a church having a great church-service on Sunday morning, but we want to be a church that offers great 's8220;people-service's8221; every day of the week.



Melrick Bogier is a man born and raised in Baltimore, MD who was led by God to relocate to Virginia Beach and birth a church 's8211; The Virginia Beach Worship Center. With his extensive experience in ministry, he serves as the Senior Leader of VBWC.



The Virginia Beach Worship Center is a new church that holds its services in the largest mall in Virginia Beach. Their celebration services are held every Sunday at 9:30 AM at the AMC Theaters in the Lynnhaven Mall. They also offer a small group community to it members, guests and friends. Over the next few months they will begin a weekly Bible-Study, a weekly mid-week midday service - PowerLunch and oceanfront services.
