May 4, 2005 -- Next Step Enterprises, Inc. - producers of Control-It! Nail Biting Treatment for adults and children - announced the availability of formal certification training to
members of the American Association of Pediatricians (AAP), who were gathered in Orlando the week of April 22 for certified medical education, networking and faculty meetings. The company
is offering certification training through the International Association of Oralfacial Myologists (IAOM) and Next Step Enterprises partnership with the Sandra Coulson Institute of
Oralfacial Myology, Denver, Colo.
The AAP members are now networked with IAOM specialists through the Next Step Enterprises Advisory Board. All certified professional advisory resources listings are available to consumers
on the Control-It! website, www.stopbitingnails.com.
Control-It! Nail Biting Treatment and the included Gold Star Program represent a departure from the traditional method of applying harsh chemicals to the nails and - in the case of ending
the habit in a child - nagging. Control-It! is an all-natural cream that produces a bitter taste while delivering healing vitamins and nutrients to the nails and cuticles. It is used in
conjunction with the Gold Star Program, a step-by-step behavior modification and maintenance program with elements designed for adults and children.
IAOM members report success in using Control-It! Nail Biting Treatment in their patients before beginning restorative treatment of the facial, dental and gum movement malformations that
can occur from excessive nail biting and thumb sucking.
Chris Henry, marketing director of Next Step Enterprises, gave product to AAP attendees during the event.
"We have been working for years with our advisory board of PhDs and clinicians on providing a complete treatment that goes beyond the common aversion therapy of just applying a bitter
substance on the nails," Henry said. "The AAP members have confirmed that we are recommended by more doctors than any other over-the-counter treatment, and we have even received a great
endorsement on the WebMD website."
Next Step Enterprises will be an exhibitor at the AAP's 2005 National Conference & Exhibition, Washington, DC October 8th through 11th.
