Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine announces the addition of Gordon Wright Bates, Jr., MD to its prominent infertility practice. Dr. Bates arrives from Texas with a distinguished
military career and directorship of the In Vitro Fertilization program at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB.
Lisa Hasty, MD of ACRM says she is "thrilled to welcome my new colleague. He will add a great deal to our practice with his warmth and his wisdom - having spent most of his life in the
southeast and receiving excellent training."
Dr. Bates attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN residency at University of Tennessee. His fellowship in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility was completed at Brigham & Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School. As a specialist in his field, Dr. Bates is board certified in OB/GYN and
reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He has authored multiple publications with extensive research on in vitro fertilization.
