Website Dealing in Scrubs and other Medical Clothing Now Carries White...

ActiveScrubs.com an online retailer of scrubs, lab coats, shoes, totes, and accessories, announced that the site now carries the White Swan line of scrubs and related medical apparel.

ActiveScrubs.com was launched in April 2007 by husband and wife John and Cindy Sewell. Outfitted with a large selection of scrubs, Sewell is quick to note that their inventory of scrubs is not like traditional medical wear.

When people think of scrubs, they usually think of something pretty plain, said Sewell. But I think people will find that scrubs can actually be quite fashionable. In particular, our new line of scrubs is made for younger people with cute designs and bold colors.

The site was first conceived when John and Cindy became grandparents and, therefore, spent extended periods of time within hospitals. During this stint, they realized just how dedicated the nursing and medical staff was, working upwards of twelve-hour shifts.

We wanted to give something back to the medical community with this site, said Sewell. Active Scrubs is a quick, easy way for nurses and doctors to shop. Now they won'st have to take a lot of time out of their busy schedules just to get their work clothes.

Outside of scrubs, the site also deals in additional apparel options. This includes nursing shoes, specially designed to keep feet comfortable even over twelve hour shifts, which is commonly demanded of nurses.

The newly added product line also includes tote bags, t-shirts, lab jackets, and more.

The site has also recently launched a company blog at www.AllYour-ScrubsInfo.com. Launched in October 2008, the blog will cover a wide range of posts from the history of medical apparel to certain hospital regulations regarding what colors or styles the nursing and medical staff must wear.
