Handbag Designer Adds Femininity to Being a Woman With Her New Line...

June 5, 2005 -- Handbag designer, Tracey Vest brings back the days of old in her handbag line, Tracey Vest.



Tracey wanted to bring back those reminiscent days of when women dressed up in gloves and hats. Seeing old pictures of her family dressed for formal occasions helped inspire her designs as well as seeing the feather boas in the Garment District, in LA. "I just thought there were not a whole lot of occasions a person can wear a feather boa and it would be a nice idea for a bit of everyday glamour and for going out."




Based in Los Angeles, Tracey creates these extraordinary purses and accessories with faux fur and colorful feathers, all of which are cruelty free. To add to the uniqueness of her creations, each purse and accessory is named after members of her family. Tracey states, "I think using the names of my family would be an easy and nice way of identifying my styles and inspiration for ideas."



Featured in such publications as Essence and Melt Magazine, and distributed by numerous California boutiques, Tracey Vest is taking flight with a creative twist to handbags and purses that can be worn to a exclusive event or paired with your favorite pair of jeans.
