New Fashion Social Network Launched for New Designers and Artists

The new social network, created just for designers and artists in the fashion industry officially launched on Tuesday, August 15th. The community can be found at www.secondchancefashion.com.

second chance® apparel brand is a relatively new company that was launched into the national spotlight through the 2006 Grammy® awards, as well as other media events. The opportunities that second chance® apparel gained from Grammy® awards media exposure sparked the idea for a new social network.

Some trendsetters in the fashion and online world are pitching in to help by volunteering as Group Moderators for the second chance fashion community.

Volunteers helping launch the new community include:

Angelique Lee, founder of le-fashionista.com

Glamour magazine says that le-fashionista.com is 's8220;one of just 8 websites that style insiders swear by. Angelique is moderator for the 's8220;Designer's8221; group in the Second Chance Fashion community.

Jay Arnold, creative guru of Imax Marketing Group and co-founder of Fabulous Stationery.com. Trend setter and online retail innovator Jay Arnold is heading up the 's8220;Cool Stuff's8221; group in the community.

Cybele Parsignault, beauty blogger and marketing executive for the premier LA group, Distinctive Assets Cybele Parsignault has agreed to moderate the 's8220;Accessories's8221; group in the community.

Silicon Valley firm Crowd Factory built the new social network. Crowd Factory team members have experience at Google, Oracle and Yahoo. They decided to team up with second chance apparel because of the passion of the second chance apparel group.

Crowd Factory's8217;s Alexander Mouldovan calls second chance fashion a 's8220;groundbreaking online endeavor. We wanted to bring together new artists and designers as well as give consumers a direct line for input and feedback.
