Warner Brothers and Tattooed Steel will be introducing the new Speedy Gonzalez Collection to the United States at the Project New York trade show starting January 22, 2007.The collection
is a joint effort to create an exciting line of accessory items featuring the world renowned Speedy Gonzales. Working from images of the original illustrator, Friz Freleng, Tattooed Steel
has placed this famous mouse and his lingo on their cuffs, dog tags, and money clips.
Speedy Gonzalez, the fastest mouse in all Mexico, was created by Friz Freleng, animation artist and director for Warner Brothers in 1953. Known for his ability to run extremely fast and
his high pitched, comedic, Mexican accent, Speedy is a character to be reckoned with. This character is a great fit for the Tattooed Steel line as so many of the traditional animated
characters are making a comeback into mainstream fashion, said Tattooed Steel Creative Director, Wyatt Simmons.
This new collection will debut at the following shows: Bread & Butter (January 17th to 19th), Project New York (January 22nd - 24th), Trafik Miami (January 29th - 31st), Pool Las
Vegas (February 13th - 15th).
