Dignitaries and key industry decision makers will be attending the 2nd instalment of the Islamic Retail Banking Conference II being held in November at the Grand Hyatt in Dubai.
The conference, being convened under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance & Industry, UAE is the second instalment of a series of Industry dialogues which began in March last year
at the First Islamic Retail Banking Conference,
Dubai Islamic Bank is celebrating its 30 years of successful operation by hosting the inaugural sessions due to take place on the 14th of November, with notable keynote addresses by: Dr.
Mohamed Khalfan bin Khirbash, Minister of State for Finance and Industry, UAE; Sheikh Saleh Kamel, Chairman of the Dallah Albraka Group; and Rifaat Abdel A Karim, Secretary of the Islamic
Financial Services Board.
These distinguished speakers will be presenting their unique insight into the exciting growth of the Islamic financial services industry, and will set the scene of how this industry is
expected to further expand. They will address issues such as the future of capital markets, setting standards for the industry and look at the various new & emerging markets, seeking
to implement Islamic financial services into their fold.
The 2 days of discussion and dialogue will feature an Excellence in Islamic Finance Awards Ceremony held by Banker Middle East.
Furthermore, there will be interactive open sessions on marketing & branding and a focus on how Islamic financial institutions can make better use of media to promote their products
and services.
