Mark L. Meinberg CPA Named to Board of Directors of New York State...

Mark Meinberg, managing partner of the Syosset accounting firm Feldman, Meinberg & Co. LLP, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). Representing 30,000 CPA's8217;s, NYSSCPA is the oldest and largest state accounting organization in the nation. It seeks to establish and maintain high standards of integrity, honor, and character among certified public accountants.



A member of the Society since 1980, Meinberg also serves on the Society's8217;s Managing Partners committee and has served on its Large & Medium Sized Firms Practice Management and Small Firms Practice Management committees, as well as its Stock Brokerage group. He is also the Secretary of NYSSCPA's8217;s Nassau Chapter, a former member of that Board's8217;s Executive Committee and the chair of that chapter's8217;s Management of an Accounting Practice committee.



In addition to his activities with NYSSCPA, Meinberg serves on both the Board of Governors of the Accountants Club of America and the Business Advisory Board of Sterling National Bank in New York City. He has been a guest speaker for many different organizations including the American Camping Association, Business Network International, National Conference of CPA Practitioners and local universities. He is a resident of Plainview, NY.
