New Virtual Accounts Office VAO Account Manager

Swindon accountants, Morris Owen has promoted Kate Ponting to the position of VAO Account Manager.



Kate, who qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2005 after joining Morris Owen as a trainee in 1999, had previously worked in the firms Corporate Services Department.



Kate joins a team that was further boosted by another chartered accountant, Andrea Baker, at the end of 2005, to meet client demand for the innovative service.



Partner, Ian Sumbler who oversees VAO explained "We are delighted to have been able to promote Kate into this new role, along with Andrea who joined us at the end of last year, we now have two additional qualified and experienced accountants who can co-ordinate providing access to highly trained specialists in accounting, credit control, payroll and taxation for our VAO clients.



Demand for VAO is increasing all the time, not only with new clients, but existing long term clients, who value the outsourcing of business functions that are traditionally draining on a SME in both terms of time and finances".



Kate will be responsible for co-ordinating the VAO process for a diverse portfolio of clients based in the UK and overseas, offering a customised service to meet the specific requirements for each.
