CZUSA Aquires Dan Wesson Firearms

Kansas City, KS - 1 February, 2005

CZ-USA is pleased to announce the acquisition of Dan Wesson Firearms. Dan Wesson Firearms has long been known for it's revolvers and more recently it's line of high quality 1911 style semi-automatic pistols. Norwich, New York will remain the home of CZ's Dan Wesson line. The current Dan Wesson models will continue to be produced in New York under the Dan Wesson Firearms name. The New York location provides CZ-USA with US manufacturing and development facilities for new products in both lines.

Mr. Robert Serva, Former president of Dan Wesson Corp., will be joining CZ-USA as Director of Technology and Engineering. The Dan Wesson line of 1911s consists of 4 base models in both 45 ACP and 10mm. The line of revolvers features interchangeable barrels, superior accuracy and is available in calibers from .22LR to .445 Supermag.
