January 28, 2005 -- 2004 was a good year for Osage Guide Service and Fishing Lodge. Captain Jeff Williams was featured in two more TV shows with The American Outdoorsman, which may be
seen on the Men's Channel. The first one was serving as a Blue Catfish Guide on Lake of the Ozarks in May. For the other episode, Capt. Jeff served as a hybrid striper fishing guide on
Truman Lake in July. He also led seminars in two Bass Pro Classics and was published in Procats Magazine, Oklahoma Game and Fish, Outdoor Life, and Lake Magazine on Lake Ozark.
Osage Guide Service ended 2004 on the Lake of the Ozarks with 96 full day fishing guided trips with a 99% success rate. Guests caught one 60 lb. Blue Catfish, four 50 lb. catfish and
fifteen 40 lb. catfish, all catch and release, during their guided catfish fishing trips. Guests with guided fishing trips on Truman Lake additionally caught and released 27 hybrid
stripers between 10 and 16 lbs. in June and July alone.
Watch for more from Osage Guide Service in 2005 as they expand their catfish fishing guide service further down the Lake of the Ozarks to include the Gravois Arm, and guide fishing trips
from Truman Lake Dam to the 25 mile marker of Lake of the Ozarks. People may also look for an article in Outdoor Life Southern Edition on trophy Blue Catfish fishing in the wintertime on
Lake of the Ozarks as well as an article for Procats on drifting and boat control for the upcoming wintertime issue. Capt. Jeff has already completed a seminar at the Kansas City Sports
Show as well as the boat show at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds this January and has others scheduled for the Springfield, MO, Bass Pro Spring Classic in March on the 25th and 26th, and in
Omaha, Nebraska, at the boat show in March on the 4th-6th.
