The Amazon River and tributaries near the Royal Amazon Lodge are crystal clear with white sand bottoms. In addition to peacock bass, other game fish present include Payara, Piranha, Pirapatinga, Matrincha, Pirarucu, Aruana, Jancunda, Traira, Surubim and countless other species. While these names may not mean much to the Northern angler, after your trip to the Royal Amazon, there is little doubt that each will be attached to a memorable angling experience.



Clients will fish two to a boat with one guide. The guides have been trained extensively and have many years of experience guiding for peacock bass.
